Abstract

This research project focuses on the design and simulation of a multipurpose security system technology. The system consists of a microcontroller and several peripheral devices, including a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), Buzzer, PIR sensor, vibration sensor (piezoelectric sensor), flame sensor, and gas sensor module, light dependent resistor (LDR), Time and Bluetooth Module. These devices work together to ensure the reliable operation of the security system. One advantage of this system over similar existing systems is that alerts and status updates are sent to the user through a Buzzer connected to the microcontroller. This feature allows the user to receive updates from any distance. Additionally, the system can be locked or unlocked using a manual keypad. To control the system and maintain all security functions, a program was designed using Compiler Code Vision AVR. The program was then applied in Proteus Software for simulation. The practical circuit results demonstrate that the system functions properly and provides reliable security at a reasonable cost. Overall, this research project highlights the importance of designing and simulating security systems to ensure their reliability and effectiveness. The use of a microcontroller and peripheral devices in this multipurpose security system (MSS) provides a versatile and efficient solution for securing various environments and demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed system.
